I was in a hotel and all the lights were off but it was lit enough by the lights from the street.  Across the street, Nate Ruess was in an apartment and we were trying to talk across the street.  We decided to Skype.

I was in a big building and Sophie Calle was doing a huge project, but it was so unlike the rest of her work.  It involved thousands of people and sort of herding them to different areas of the building and eventually they would disappear and only their footprints would remain.  [My old boss] Dave Martinez was there and I was supposed to be doing something for him.  I had placed my DSLR camera on a shelf and set the timer because I wanted a photo of the event, and I was hoping that it wouldn’t get stolen.  Later, I was having lunch in a sort of cafeteria, and [my friend] Janessa Jordan and my dad were there, among others.  My dad was really furious at me and kept glaring, and eventually moved to sit by Janessa.

Lady Gaga and I were slow dancing on a small stage outside.  We were really good.  It was so romantic and we had a really intense connection.  She had long blond hair and was very beautiful.

I was at a playground with Sophie Calle and [my brother] Kendall.  Sophie was less attractive than I thought she would be.  Kendall and I were on the same swing, sort of doing the spider.  Sophie asked what his religion was, and he said something like “Corinthian” or something.  I told him that it wasn’t a religion but a group of people, as in, from Corinth, but he didn’t believe me.

I was at a music festival and it was set up so that all the musicians and all the festival-goers stayed in tents and camped out for the few days.  The musicians would do little performances and publicity stunts outside their tents when they weren’t performing.  Celine Dion was there and did a performance that was mocking Lady Gaga, where she had midgets dressed up to recreate one of Gaga’s music videos.  Then she said that although Lady Gaga was talented, she was immature or something like that.  Lady Gaga was furious and had a big press conference bashing Celine Dion, and Celine came back and said that even by acknowledging her and saying she was talented was the greatest gift ever, and Gaga better be appreciative.  Then she likened it to two philosophers (one being the greater and one being an apprentice), but I forget who.

I was outside in the evening, maybe at a train station or something.  Leonardo DiCaprio was there, but I’m not sure if it was him or if he was playing a character and I was another character in a movie or something.  There seemed to be some confusion about if he was good or bad, but I trusted him.  At one point I was in a kitchen of a restaurant and Trisha, that girl that was my supervisor at work when I was 16, was there.  Later, I was in the newspaper room at Jefferson High School and I was naked but had a button up shirt in my hands.  A guy was there that I have never seen before, and I was trying to hide genitals with my shirt.

I was with [my sister] Janelle, Lady Gaga, and a few other people that I didn’t know.  We wanted to go in and grab a drink at a bar, but I couldn’t remember if Janelle was 21 or not.  I told her to stick close to Gaga.  The doorman was checking IDs, and I pushed Janelle close to Gaga.  She said “Can I get some ID, Gaga?”  I got upset because I was afraid the doorman would hear, but he didn’t and she snuck right through.  The doorman asked for my ID, and for some reason I had my permit from when I was 16, and as soon as I showed him it, I realized what it was and showed him my real ID.  When we got inside, we went upstairs and into the back room and began writing poetry.  I also explained to Gaga that there were a lot of Christians I knew that were really great people, and she was interested.

I was putting makeup on [my friend's little brother] Nic Morrey, and then I somehow sent Lady Gaga a piece of mail about it.  She called me about it, but I couldn’t get to the call for some reason.  Then I non-chalantly told Nic that Lady Gaga called me, but he obviously didn’t really believe me.

A group of us were helping with Matthew Barney’s Drawing Restraint film that takes place on the Japanese fishing boat.  I was on one smaller boat a bit away, and [my drawing professor] Francoise was yelling at me to swim across to the other one.  I was really afraid, and even though everyone else had done it, I knew I was the worst swimmer and I was really afraid of drowning.  We were supposed to stay upright and only use our arms to propel us up toward the surface of the water after we had jumped.  (It reminds me of little fairy or propeller toys we had when we were little.)  I was so afraid, but then Francoise said “Just imagine that you’re writing me a proposal”and so I did and I swam to the boat quicker than everyone and it was fine.

It’s blurry, but I was with Kate Nash and I was the skeleton from “Skeleton Song” and everything was true.
